I've spent over twenty years coaching others in various skills and five years writing and editing for literary journals. I have a master’s degree in creative writing and my work has been published in Burrow Press Review, Prick of the Spindle, the Tampa Bay Times, and on BayNews 9. I have more than five years of combined research experience and have volunteered in efforts to preserve historical documents and photographs. I'm a member of the Editorial Freelancer's Association (EFA), the Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP), and the Florida Genealogical Society (FGS).

I have been working with Vicki for over two years. When we first began sharing work, my stories were rushed, disorganized, and full of summary. Vicki has helped me clearly define my scenes, focus my themes, and play with structure and form. While many of my first pieces were too rough to ever see the light of day, I now have five nonfiction pieces that have been either published or accepted for publication. Vicki has helped me feel comfortable crafting an arc in a nonfiction piece and has helped me inject my true voice into my stories. Her tough love has pushed me to better myself as a nonfiction writer. I'm incredibly thankful for her patience and persistence.

With Vicki's expert writing skills, creative mind, and keeping the customer (me) in mind, the way she crafted my résumé is what helped me get my foot in the GCO Compliance door. She was professional, thoughtful, and cognate of working WITH me as business partner, and truly had my best interest in mind. I appreciate what she has to offer, and will certainly employ her services again.
